Closing your account
It closes at once, and is deleted after 30 days. Signing in before then undoes it.
- Go to Profile, then Privacy and your data.
- At the bottom, tap Close my account.
- Read what happens, enter your password (or type CLOSE if you only use Google), and tap Close my account.
What happens
Upcoming visits are cancelled straight away, and you are signed out everywhere.
After 30 days your details, your address, your photos, the files you uploaded and any pet no vet has treated are deleted.
Notes, medicines and vaccines a vet wrote stay with that vet as their clinical record, with your name and contact details removed.
Want a copy of anything first? Prescriptions can be downloaded from each pet's page.
Changed your mind?
Sign in again within 30 days and your account carries on as before.
If you share pets in a family
Closing closes only your own login. Pets you shared with a family stay with the family, and their visits are not cancelled.
