Family: looking after pets together

Everyone in a family sees the pets it shares, books visits and keeps their details up to date.

Make a family

  1. Go to Profile, then Family.
  2. Under Make a family, type a name, such as The Sharma family, and tap Make. You are its admin.
  3. Tap Share a pet to share your pets with it. A new pet can join a family when you add it: choose the family under Who looks after this pet.

Invite someone

  1. On your family, tap Invite someone. Add their email if you like, and tap Make the invite.
  2. Tap Send on WhatsApp, or read out the code. It works once, for 7 days.
  3. They open the link, or type the code under Profile, Family, and tap Join.

Good to know

You can be in more than one family. Joining shares none of your own pets until you choose them.

Only whoever added a pet can remove it from Tails of Leo. Admins invite and remove people, make others admin, and can take a pet off the family.

When the last admin leaves, the person who joined first becomes admin. If your admin can no longer sign in, write to hello@tailsofleo.com.

Leaving

Tap Leave on the family. You keep the pets you added, and the family keeps them too.

When an admin removes someone, they can take back a pet that person added, or let them keep another family pet.
