For pet parents
Who can see your pet's records
Only vets you have booked with, or who have treated your pet, and you can withdraw that at any time.
A vet can open your pet's records only after one of these: you book a visit with them, they register your pet at their clinic when you arrive without an appointment, or they give you a code that you use. No other vet can see anything.
If a clinic gets access because they registered your pet at the clinic, Home tells you, so there are no surprises.
Seeing and withdrawing access
- Go to Profile, then Privacy and your data, and find Who can see your pets.
- Each vet is listed with the pet, when they got access and when they last opened the records.
- Tap Withdraw to stop that vet opening the records. What they already wrote stays in your pet's history.
- Tap Show history to see everything that has happened: who got access and how, and what each vet recorded.
If you book with that vet again, or take your pet to their clinic, they get access again. That is on purpose: a vet needs the history to treat your pet.
